The party's over and we had a great time, thanks to all that attended . We're just gonna post a few digitals here over the next few days till the films are processed. The pics are kinda big and may take a while to load, but hey, they're worth it !!

Some of the committee members.
The "Party Animals" were the girls of 1960. For a while it looked like we were gonna have to use the fire hose to get them to take a break. But they danced into the morning hours then helped put away the tables and chairs, or maybe they were just trying to make the dance floor bigger. However, we haven't heard from any of them so we aren't sure how many survived.
A Special thanks to Bryan Correll who restored and donated
his beautiful "64" Thunderbird for display for the evening.
The speakers are from the Linton Drive-In and have been restored to working condition.
The Linton Drive-In operated from 1948 till 1998. It didn't have "In the car" speakers untill 1952.
Don't ask !!
Comments:07/05/2005 Congratulations to those of you who planned, organized, and put this Reunion together. Except for the FOOD, everything was great. I really enjoyed myself and I really don't do that much around a large group of people.
Comments:07/05/2005 14:06:59Yeah, I can't believe those meat trays weren't iced. And those were professional caterers?? Everything else was great. Thank-you committee.
How did this happen ?
Here's a short rundown
John schedules the building, security, photographer, the bands and the caterer
Connie handles the incoming invitations, the finances and is jack of all trades during set-up and tear down.
Veda & Debby Decorated the building, provided the Drive in screen, restored speakers, digital projector, popcorn machine, made the table decorations & bowls
and provided the pre-band music.
Rick and Barb were worked like "Borrowed Mules" Rick handled the heavy Equipment (Big Ladder) and did the high & heavy stuff while Barb did a lot of the set up and tear down.
Special thanks to Mayor Tom Jones, Brent Slover, Susan {Spice} Thimbler, Rhea Vest and Ed Guthrie for their assistance. There were other people involved but I don't have their names yet
The Class representatives mail the invitations to their respective classes
Several people start holding meetings long before this event takes place
Then you guys show up and make it all worth while.
The Committee truly hopes you enjoyed it as much as they did.
And Thank you for coming.
Comments:07/07/2005 05:10:38This was the first reunion that I had attended and I must say it was Fantastic.Seeing so many friends and old (I use that carefully)class mates was a real thrill. We may have all changed a little on the outside, but we are still the same on the inside. Thank you and Koodos to the committee that worked so hard to put this together and I hope you will consider doing it again in the future. Just please get some air in that place it was way to hot.But everything else was great. I had my two best dancing partners with me,my son and husband so it made it all that much more fun. Thank you Dee (Coleman Stauffer) and family
Thank you

The Movie posters were donated by Gale {Fithian} Marler (Class 0f “64”) who also compiled the School History for this web site. Unfortunately Gale was unable to attend.

Comments:07/06/2005 21:08:45$25 at the door was a bit much for warm lunchmeat, limp cheese and nothing to drink. Other than that we had a great evening.

OK, so what's next ? So far these Reunions have run from 2 to 5 years apart. Is anyone
interested in some small get-together's in between at a time when people may be in the area
anyway, like Labor Day, etc ? These could be on a smaller scale and inexpensive.
Please fill out the poll and we're open to other suggestions for choices, etc. The Poll cannot
identify you so feel free to express your opinion.
Comments:07/11/2005 10:16:20Well as usual you all did an excellant job of making the time spent together a real treat!! The bands were GREAT and the time spent socializing was well worth coming for! I do have to go along with some of the other comments about the food, it should have been kept cool and should have had more drinks, but I think for the cost to attend and the thoughts of having lucheon meats and cheese trays were a GREAT IDEA, that way folks could eat whenever and however much they wanted! Good idea, but will make the next time easier knowing what everyone wants!
BUT YOU ALL DID A GREAT JOB!! MAYBE THE FOLKS THAT DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY IT WENT TOTALLY CAN HELP OUT FOR THE NEXT ONE!! JUST A THOUGHT....
